Meet The Speakers: Dr. Pauline Beattie

Dr Pauline Beattie joined EDCTP in 2011 as Operations Manager. She is responsible for the management and oversight of the EDCTP calls and grants team, from development of calls for proposals, management of peer review, through to project monitoring and evaluation in the EDCTP2 programme. Dr Beattie has a BSc in Parasitology from University of Glasgow, a Master’s degree from University of Manchester, and a DPhil from University of Oxford. Prior to EDCTP, she was Science Portfolio Manager in Infection and Immunity at Wellcome, where she was also responsible for fellowships for researchers in low- and middle-income countries.
