Meet The Speakers: Beatrice Sakyibea Biney-Nyamekye
Beatrice Sakyibea Biney-Nyamekye (Research Management Professional – RMP), has over 11+ years experience supporting researchers in a university setting pursue funding for research and capacity building initiatives. Her work spans the research life cycle but has predominantly focused on the pre-award processes including finding funding for research, providing expert advice to researchers on responding to funding opportunity announcements and supporting the researchers to develop research proposals applications and submit applications for funding. She has specialist knowledge of the research lifecycle and experience with strategic research funding initiatives gathered from the departmental and central level grants management and she has contributed immensely to grants management capacity building programmes in the University of Ghana and beyond. Beatrice is the Senior Research Development Officer, responsible for research and grants management in the College of Basic and Applied Sciences, University of Ghana. She supervises the Grant Management Office at the College of Basic and Applied Sciences.
