WARIMA successfully concluded a five-day Research Grants Management course held from 26th to 30th May 2025, at the Kenema Government Hospital in Sierra Leone, marking another significant milestone in the association’s commitment to strengthening research management capabilities across West Africa.

The West African Research and Innovation Management Association (WARIMA) concluded a comprehensive two-week training course on epidemiology and biostatistics on 18th April 2025 at CIGASS, Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar, Senegal.

WARIMA successfully concluded its 16th Annual Workshops and Conference in Lomé, Togo, from 27th to 30th January 2025, under the theme “Innovation and Technology in Research Management: Transforming West African Research Landscapes.”

Recognising the crucial role that research management plays in ensuring the conduct of quality and relevant research in the West Africa subregion, WARIMA successfully concluded a five-day Research Grants Management Training in Abuja, Nigeria from 13th to 17th January 2025.
