Yemi Philips is a communications and digital strategy professional with over six years of progressive experience delivering institutional communications, advocacy campaigns, and digital solutions for international development organisations, research institutions, and nonprofits across West Africa and beyond.

He currently serves as Communications Specialist at the West Africa Research and Innovation Management Association (WARIMA), where he leads communications for the organisation’s regional programmes including a Gates Foundation-funded initiative spanning five West African countries. He has also served as Communications Officer at the Medical Research Council Unit The Gambia (MRCG) at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and contributes to a UNICEF-commissioned storytelling project promoting child rights across The Gambia.

Through his consultancy, Digitrex, Olayemi provides end-to-end digital and communications solutions for NGOs, healthcare institutions, and private organisations across Africa and internationally — delivering websites, learning management systems, brand identities, and digital campaigns that drive measurable results.
