\n(SARIMA) invites you to a webinar.<\/p>\n

Five keys to improving research costing and pricing in <\/strong>
\nlow- and middle-income countries<\/strong><\/p>\n

ESSENCE on Health Research is an initiative that allows donors\/funders to identify synergies, establish
\ncoherence and increase the value of resources for research, especially in low- and middle-income countries
\n(LMICs). ESSENCE has led several innovative approaches to achieve harmonization and optimization of
\nresearch funding, including the development of a good practice document series covering a wide range of topics.
\nOne such output is the Five Keys to improving research costing and pricing in low-and middle-income countries<\/a>
\n\u2018Five Keys\u2019.<\/p>\n

The achievement of accurate costing that enables sustainable research institutions and programs is a challenge
\nfor many LMIC\u2019s, especially the recovery of indirect costs. In addition, fast-changing, technologically driven and
\ncompetitive local and global environments for research, research funding, and research management
\nnecessitate ongoing reflection and learning. The development of this good practice document provided an
\nopportunity for funders and research institutions to share their challenges and good practices related to research
\ncosting and pricing.<\/p>\n
